Triage is the sorting of patients by priority according to the urgency of their need for medical treatment. There are several methods to triage patients such as Basic Triage, Advanced Triage, and Continued Integrated Triage. This App reflects a standard Triage 5-Level Assessment compiled from the Simple Triage And Rapid Treatment (START) method. This App may be used for training purposes, secondary (non-diagnosing) clinical situations, or personal knowledge and includes:
Level 1 Immediate Color Code : Red
Level 2 Delayed Color Code : Yellow
Level 3 Ambulatory Color Code : Green
Level 5 Deceased Color Code : Black
